Lesoir takes you to an obscure city, where you wouldn't mind getting lost as an listener.Sometimes loud but never losing the essence of the song." - 3voor12
Gruhak - The Classic Rock era, when the talent reigned supreme, was the most creative period in rock music. With their first album "Make A Stand" the amazingly gifted new rockers Gruhak want to bring that old-fashioned genre back into the mainstream again.
The Elements - Rock band from Slovakia, originally formed in 2001 is known mostly for their dynamic, slightly progressive rock music and energetic live performance. The Elements bring music full of life and positive energy, yet deep and hearty.
Palindrome is sophisticated in lyrics and music with a high-energy stage presence. Offbeat but still melodic, the wide range of musical influences is held together by great musicianship and clever female vocals. It's the 21st Century ProgRock!
Tiles - Hard rock kindly described by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull as: "...combining the presentation skills and rich musicality of the progressive rock '70s with today's hard-edged realism.' Tiles has placed songs on A&E TV's "Dog the Bounty Hunter" & "Parking Wars" - and recently released a live CD.
The New Jacobin Club is Western Canada's enduring art rock circus, a feast for the senses. Anthematic and flamboyant yet still hard edged, the band delivers live with bohemian stage theatrics that sometimes employ characters in costume, sideshow spectacles and the ever popular flaming mic stands.
StillLine is a band with a simple purpose, to create rock music on every end of the spectrum. Unwilling to be categorized on one side of the rock genre StillLine is unafraid to tug at your heart strings with one song, then blow the roof off the venue with the next!
Here Below is a math-rock experience you can't miss. High-energy performances, dynamic soundscapes, and jaw-dropping instrumentation leave audiences in awe. HB is currently booking shows in support of their debut full-length: So, Still.
Mud River - We consider ourselves the hardest working band in Texas. You wont find another band that works as hard as we do and takes our music and band as serious as we do. When you work hard, good things happen.
Sonic Bliss is a fusion of Classic Rock ala Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who and the modern rock sounds of Disturbed, Foo fighters and The Muse into a dynamic sound of emotional, expansive hit-worthy songs from the true rock roll traditions.
Roll It Over is big choruses and catchy guitar riffs, with songs that beg you to sing along and music that is melodic yet driven.
Tempo Plastico - We breathe a tropical culture through our brazilian background combined with the inspiration and the admiration we have for rock'n'roll to come up with our contribution to contemporary rock music. Our music is uplifting, direct, heavy and passionate.
Gabana is a modern Bulgarian hard rock band. A quartet of musicians performing with unique style and energy. You can catch Gabana daily on national radio stations Z-ROCK and Tangra mega rock, as well as the biggest BG rock festivals.
Tolerance is a Progressive Rock band formed on April 2003. Their debut album called ?When Time Stops? is a blend of hard rock, metal, classical and electronic sounds.Their lyrics are related to topics such as existence, science, politics and nvironmental issues.
The Decomposers - All coincidences that occurred and lead to the band formation are still nonplussing the musicians themselves. Once four of the Decomposers?: Max, Pavel, Maria and Roman met each other when watching TV in a resting room on the 3rd floor of a hospital.
Searching For Daylight plays prog rock with an innovative edge. What began as a side project for a group of top NYC studio musicians has evolved into much more. All music and lyrics are by vocalist and composer Max King. Listen to the new release, the Fragile Like A Cigarette (EP).
Qayaas has been awarded the Best Rock Band, Rock Vocalist & Rock Song in South Asia at IndieGo 2012; Best Global Indie Rock Band at BMM 2012 with over 50 countries competing. These are just some of the accolades the band has earned. Their music is a sense of rebellion and a rallying cry for pathos.
Arkham Awaits is an amalgamation of many genres of music stemming from the efforts of 5 dedicated musicians with vastly different styles, but a common love of music. Creating a blend of hardcore and metal with distinct melodic elements, they forge an original, yet nostalgic sound.
Atlas founders, Jon Miller and Mike Slobodian, met while performing with another group called The Two Steps. The short-lived project left the two men to pick up the pieces of a musical venture that had been cast aside like iron scraps from Pittsburgh's coal-fired steel mills. Soon there after, they acquired drummer Nick McCall from the notable band The Saturn Five. Nick's innovative percussion gave the then two piece band a solid foundation to stand on. Acquiring bassist and front man Eric Emerson from Baltimore Maryland of the band "The Frauds", completed the lineup. In the spring of 2011 the debut E.P. titled "Atlas" was released.
Celestial Ruin - ** Unleash the Furies Band of the Month April 2013** Symphonic Hard Rock! Canada's answer to Evanescence. Taking it one step further, more grand and organic. Taking pride in avoiding backing tracks.
The Shipyard - Polish band The Shipyard formed in The Tricity (Gdansk/ Sopot/ Gdynia) in 2011. The Shipyard moves between classic cold wave alienation, a reverberating melancholy reminiscent of shoegaze, and heavier alt rock. Vocals channel the band's moody sound, as melodies soaked in pinching sadness yield to bursts of mad energy.
Skeletons in the Piano are not created in death, merely exposed. Spurred on by their dedicated fanbase to create captivating multi-media stage performances.
Opium Parlour is a Toronto-based rock band that started with a backwards journey where the words came first and melodies came second. Lead vocalist Nitasha lent her poems to her friend Soum who picked up his dust-covered guitar and played an instant melody and a great musical team was formed ever since.
Burning Daisy are a Calgary based keg full of inebriated rock. Melodically angry guitar riffs float between powerful haunting vocals, and heavy, crashing drums all swimming in a haze of rumbling bass lines.
Seed - The sound of SEED is like... "you made a random playlist... I mean really random... Everything from Marvin Gay to Pearl Jam and Bob Marley to Pantera... and then you got Lenny Kraviz to sing every song..."
Mary Jane's Pride is a fun and energetic Modern Rock band with a classic feel and great hooks and melodies. Our live shows pull the crowd into the music with our professional stage presence and great original material.
UnDying Will - When UnDying Will performs a fierce building of power seems to rise in the audience. From the real lyrics, the band sends a powerful melodic interplay of different time signatures, tempos, and rhythms of brute force to its onlooker. An undeniable effect is made leaving the listener wanting to experience it again and again.
DropDestiny - We're an independent band, conformed by 5 members from México. Our genre is rock alternative progressive, and we compose all the music we play. Some of our influences are Muse,Porcupine Tree,Paramore,Symphony X,Cosmosquad, etc. We're a very compromised band with our music, our performance and the audience.
Belle's Redemption - A new band with a unique and appealing sound. We've crafted a sonic tapestry drawing from many genres to create something new. Ideally, we would like to get our sound out there to as many people, as quickly as possible.
Blue Rising - Intricately layered guitars are held together by a tight rhythm section, reminiscent of Led Zeppelin with a modern edge. Soaring vocal melodies are supported by lyrics that speak of the human condition. Countless dynamic changes tickle every emotion and assure an unforgettable live performance.
Nora's Attic is high-energy, well-written rock music that has the hear-wrenching and soul-baring lyrics reminiscent of 90's alt rock, with the pizazz and vigor that modern-day fans have come to expect. Crunchy riffs feed off of grooving bass lines, and huge shifts in the dynamic of the music make this live act an instant hit wherever it plays. Nora's Attic is the new alt rock, with the edge that's been missing!
Un Chien - A band formed from prominent members of the Fort Worth music scene, Un Chien seeks to create a world of sound; melodic, moody, and atmospheric.
The Archimedian pOiNt is a two man progressive hard rock band with an agenda to provoke independent thought. the band plays original material and some covers. Althought the primary set is hardhitting alternative rock, the pOiNt also tones down it's performance for acoustic shows.
5th Projekt - Ambient, psychedelic art-rock. Described as 'Cinematic,' or 'One great kaleidoscopic orgy of sound,' or 'If Led Zeppelin joined Pink Floyd and was fronted by Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane.'
The Oxford Coma is a mash of prog, grunge and psychedelia. Blend the weirdest 90's acts to get what JAVA magazine's Mitchell Hillman calls, "a pervasive groove...which is rare with anything bordering on metal and grunge, recalling the genre experimentation of Faith No More or early, early RHCP."
Flawed Element bring a honest mix of nu-metal, alternative rock and story driven elements to their music. Their high energy shows tells fans of American heavy weights Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin that they should take note that.
Voltera is Nine Inch Nails meets M.I.A. Voltera's "It beats for you" is a featured track on Tony Hawk's Proving Ground whilst "Do What Your Daddy Say" is also featured on Tony Hawk's Project 8 console game. Voltera have also toured as part of the coveted US Warped Tour. Second album due this year.
Infection"s is a 3 fellows Rock & Roll band with a Guitar, Bass and Drum. Sounds very close to exhaustedly forgotten Old School origins.
Skrou - The New Evolution Of Rock Is Here. SKROU. Their Music Is Sexy & Rocking. Their Shows Are Energetic & Entertaining. SKROU Looks, Sounds & Plays Like They Are On The Big Stage.
Writing off Tomorrow is 5 piece Hard Rock/Melodic Metal band with a strong female vocal lead. Dark, piercing vocals and lyrics bring to life a driving guitar, bass, and percussive whirlwind that encompasses and holds the listener captive.
Halfway to Avalon - We have been a hard working group of friends playing music for almost five years now. In that time we've experienced multiple losses of long time band members that have forced the core four of us to adapt and learn new instruments/roles. The songs we've posted here are the culmination of our hardships and hopes over the last few years.
South Of Sanity is a must hear band! You'd be an idiot for not listening..... and missing out on one of the BEST new bands out there! WE KNOW IT'S GOOD!
Manamana - "With enough energy and electricity at their live shows to power Time Square in NYC, Manamana is a band that you don't want to miss.
Byron - Alternating between introspective melancholy and playful exuberance, byron play alternative rock with a progressive flair. They're equally comfortable with loud amps or no amps at all, and they filmed a gig in a salt mine (300ft below) just to show they mean business. Featured live on MTV and HBO.
The Black Clouds just released their 2nd full length album "Better Days" (self-financed, produced & recorded). It was mixed by legendary producer John Agnello, best known for his work with Sonic Youth & Dinosaur Jr.. Preparations are being made for their 2nd North American Tour (Spring of 2013).
The Damnedest Thing is a rhythm oriented high energy rock band, based in Fuquay / Holly Springs, NC. We like to write music that is emotionally powerful no matter the tempo or progression.
Lunarian - A Indonesian 4-piece alt-rock band, when Radiohead, Bloc Party to classical and industrial combined into one. LunariaN makes the crowd move with intense energy & emotion with the music and live performance. Smart and rich, yet enjoyable.
Tainted Souls is a rock band from Oslo, Norway that delivers good and honest stage performance, packed with naked and in-your-face rock and roll with lots of punch.
Saint Legion is a rock n' roll band that is out of place and time. Inspired by pioneers that came out back in the day when the UK and the US produced all the great masters we all know and admire today, some of them are still here, but Saint Legion is here to carry on the Rock n' Roll dream.
At The Left Hand Of God - An epic, melodic, technical metal onslaught of skilled musicians delivering undeniable ingenuity and brutality.
Burning The Day - If you never seen the awesome force that is Burning The Day then you are missing out! BTD could become one of your favorite live acts, come try us!

MARBLEWOOD
"Marblewood"

Whenever experienced musicians, rooted in rock music, embark on an endeavour to experimenting with sounds and collide with multiple styles improvising on a suspiciously high level, odds are about the same as observing the explosion of a dieing star: it does happen from time to time, but usually noone is present at the right time and place to keep record of it. Luckily this won't happen to the music of Marblewood. Like a warm golden light those ever-changing musical supernovae evolving in jams reach out on their recipients immediately, hooking them on their incredible freshness and playfulness. Blues-fused guitar solos meet heavy desert rock riffs, jazzy beats, electronic grooves and floydian psychedelia. Long instrumental passages feature additional organ and dilruba. The guys at the controls of that scenery have teamed up from different groups in the swiss psychedelic and jamband scene. Marc Walser (guitars, vocals) & Ariane Bertogg (bass) worked together for more than a decade and played nearly 200 shows in half of Europe. Dave Zurbuchen (drums, vocals, keys) complets the team with his highly versatile and inspired drumming. Marblewoods first album, which is at the same time the official announcement of the band itself, promises a timeless listening experience that glows far beyond the tides of trends or fashion.
IRON BUTTERFLY
"Live In Sweden 1971"

Brilliant vintage live performance from Iron Butterfly featuring a mind-blowing 24 minute version of the all-time psych rock classic "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida!" The CD comes with 3 bonus studio tracks from the band?s first two 1968 7" singles and is packaged in a deluxe reverse board digipak with detailed liner notes! Archetypal American heavy metal outfit, originated out of San Diego, California, with founder member keyboards man Doug Ingle plus drummer Bushy and fellow San Diegan Jerry Penrod, Danny Weis and Darryl DeLoach. This five cut the debut album Heavy in early 1968 but group friction caused Penrod, Weis and DeLoach to quit shortly after. In their places Ingle and Bushy recruited Boston-born guitarist Erik Braunn and multi-instrumentalist Lee Dorman.
MONARCH TRAIL
"Skye"

When keyboard player/ vocalist Ken Baird had written some music which seemed to require more collaborative arrangements than usual, he asked drummer Chris Lamont and Bassist Dino Verginella if they'd be willing to be a part of "Monarch Trail". Lamont had played on Baird?s previous three albums and Verginella on the previous two, so it was a natural thing that it could be called a group. The first stage was to set up several rehearsals for the trio to work on arranging the new pieces. Important changes were made to the charts; an extra set of bars here, a new melody line there, a different tempo over there and so on. Even more importantly, these rehearsals also turned out to be a ton of fun with no lack of shenanigans!...
ALEX CARPANI
"4 Destinies"

Alex Carpani has collaborated with David Jackson (ex Van der Graaf Generator), Bernardo Lanzetti (PFM, Acqua Fragile), Aldo Tagliapietra (ex Le Orme), Paul Whitehead (Genesis, VdGG, etc.), Tony Spada (Steve Morse, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, etc.) among others. In 2014 he?ll collaborate with David Cross (ex King Crimson) and Lino Vairetti (Osanna) as well. The Alex Carpani Band (ACB) has been formed in fall 2006 to perform live Alex's debut album Waterline around the world and it's now one of the top Italian progressive rock bands of the contemporary scene with an International experience having performed in Italy, Japan, England, Sweden, U.S.A., Lithuania, Norway, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, France, Serbia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Canada, Brazil, Spain, Switzerland since 2007. Alex took a graduation in Musicology at the University of Bologna, specialized in music for films at C.E.T. (Centro Europeo di Toscolano), a famous Italian school of music in central Italy, as well as in sound engineering with top Italian sound engineers at the Arte Scenica Foundation in Bologna.
TWO PLACES AT ONCE
"Different Selves"

Two Places at Once is a band formed in 2013 in Rio de Janeiro, by Victor Barbosa (drummer), Renan Rocha (Vocal and Guitar) and Juan Salinas (bass), with an intention to mix different musical genres, like Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock, Metal, and other genres. The influences range from Pink Floyd and Oasis to Black Sabbath and Deftones. The compositions and the lyrics may be more delicate and touching, but it doesn?t mean that they cannot do something more agressive and heavy. In the begining of 2014, the band started to record their first EP called "Different Selves", that will be released in March of this year, and has a production by Elton Bozza.
AISLES
"4:45 AM"

Aisles have been considered one of the most interesting Progressive Rock bands of recent years and have just released their third studio album '4:45 AM'. Their soulfully crafted combination of rock, progressive rock, art rock, fusion, world music and other styles illustrates the band's unique liberal and eclectic music vision. Aisles have been regarded as Neo-Prog, but their approach to music goes far beyond that while creating a very powerful and unique type of music and sound. 4:45 AM is about pain, blood, resilience, and strength. The most extreme hour of the day, the time in which you either get up or get completely lost, an hour shared by a soul in decline and one ready to rise.
MOBILIS STABILIS
"Andando No Arame"

The band are composed by the talented musicians of the Brazilian music scene, "Mobilis Stabilis" proposes to make a musical synthesis that encompasses many universal influences, with harmonic and rhythmic structures that provide density, mobility and restlessness. They define themselves as a band of "Instrumental Rock Edge", mainly because of the type of compositions prepared using unusual instruments inside the rocker universe as sítaras Indian flutes, analog synths, violins, guitars and percussion, all complemented by classically trained guitar / bass / drums. Nothing is more appropriate for those seeking to reach the true sense of the essence of music.
ILUVATAR
"From the Silence"

The music of Iluvatar (i-LOO-va-tar) cannot be accurately summed up with a casual phrase or label. Having a solid foundation in rock music, Iluvatar combines different elements from other genres such as jazz, classical, and psychedelia, and weaves them into sound tapestries that, while pushing the boundaries of the standard rock formula, remain very accessible, even radio-ready. Although often incorporating extended instrumental passages, time signature shifts, strong dynamics, and sometimes unconventional arrangements, the music steers away from the self-indulgence of many artists that fall into the "progressive" genre. The focus remains on creating unique songs with strong memorable melodies and heartfelt vocals. Presently, Iluvatar has signed with 10T Records with a new CD that should be released in early 2014.
LANDMARQ
"Origins: A Landmarq Anthology 1991-2014"

Featuring two outstanding, multi-award-winning vocalists - Tracy Hitchings (1998-present) and Damian Wilson (1991-1995) - 'Origins' is released as a double-CD set, comprising: Disc One ? 'The Tracy Years' features a mix of studio and live recordings from Landmarq with Tracy Hitchings, plus a brand new track, also entitled "Origins". This previously unreleased track was written and recorded by the band especially for this release and has been produced by Landmarq's own multi-award-winning keyboard player and producer, Mike Varty. Disc Two ? 'The Damian Years' includes long-time favourite tracks from Landmarq's first three studio albums featuring the band's original singer Damian Wilson, now internationally acclaimed as a singer-songwriter and lead vocalist of Threshold, as well as for his work with Rick Wakeman's English Rock Ensemble, Headspace, Star One and Maiden uniteD.
ADVENTURE
"Caught in the Web"

Adventure came from Trondheim, Norway, formed by experienced musicians very well inspired and talented. Odd-Roar Bakken is the original first membenr and founder, he was born in May 1959 in Norway, living in Trondheim with his wife and kids. Work as a sales manager in the coffe business. He started playing in bands in 1977, mostly straight hard rock. Met up with Torkel Aune (drums) and Nils Larsen (bass) in 1990 and started to play progressive rock Odd-Roar played guitars only at this time. Started to play keyboards in 1990 when guitarist Terje Flessen joined. Adventure wanted a more symphonic sound so keyboards was a necessity. Other keyboardists were tested but didn't work out. These days Odd-Roar plays acoustic guitars and the occasional leadbreak besides playing keyboards and singing backing vocals. Terje Flessen (guitars) started playing guitar around 1980. Played in various hobby projects from 1983-1990, mostly '70's inspired hard rock. Met up with Odd-Roar, Torkel Aune and Nils Larsen in 1990. Terje's biggest hero is German guitar GOD "Uli Jon Roth".
FARPOINT
"Paint The Dark"

Farpoint was formed in Sumter, South Carolina, USA in early 1997 with the musical meeting of guitarist/keyboardist Kevin Jarvis and drummer Rick Walker. Currently Jarvis and Walker are joined by bassist/guitarist Frank Tyson, vocalist Dean Hallal, and vocalist/ keyboardist Abby Thompson. Through 6 studio albums, one live album, and more than 15 years of live performances at festivals, clubs, and fundraisers, Farpoint have continued to walk their own musical path and to push themselves in new musical directions. Farpoint's vision is to create melodic and powerful positive music that is accessible without compromising its artistic integrity.
ESTHEMA
"Long Goodbye"

Esthema "plays at a truly world-class level, with authenticity, aplomb, and exuberance" writes Barry Cleveland in the April 2010 issue of Guitar Player Magazine about Esthema's sophomore release, The Hereness and Nowness of Things. An instrumental fusion ensemble hailing from Boston, MA (USA), Esthema has been creating their unique sound since 2006 by fusing the sounds of Jazz/Fusion and Progressive Rock with the sounds of the traditional music of the Balkan region and the Near & Middle East. The musicians that shape the sound of Esthema bring together both Western and Eastern influences, instruments, and concepts creating a musical tapestry that transcends genres and cultures.
MAJESTIC
"Epsilon I"

Majestic proudly announces the release of a new double CD space odyssey titled Epsilon. Building off the success of our 2012 V.O.Z release, Epsilon promises to deliver what progressive rock fans will call a favorite of 2014. Jeff Hamel is joined by the amazing Mike Kosacek on drums to create a sonic landscape rich in texture and depth. Jeff and Mike are supported by a very talented cast. Epsilon is a two part space odyssey loosely based upon the star Epsilon which is part of the Eridanus (The River) constellation. In Greek mythology, the constellation is associated with the story of Phaëton (or Phaëthon), the son of the Sun god Helios and the Oceanid Clymene. Phaëton wanted to drive his father's chariot across the sky and kept begging for Helios' permission to do so until the god agreed, advising Phaëton to follow the beaten track where he saw wheel marks.Phaëton mounted the chariot and the horses, sensing that the driver was lighter, flew upwards into the sky, leaving the familiar track behind.
HEYLEL
"Nebulai"

Born in the fall of 2012, Heylel present themselves as an alternative prog rock band with a gothic twist. The portuguese trio aim to recapture the essence of old school Progressive Rock, whilst adding their very personal touch. The outcome is a dark, atmospheric and involving sound, gracefully combined with the beautiful voice of Ana Batista. All songs and lyrics were written, recorded, mixed and produced by Narciso Monteiro, former member of several other projects in the portuguese music scene.
BRUNO MANSINI
"Dreams From The Earth"

Bruno Mansini had his first contacts with music at four years of age, but, the six years old was strongly influenced by various musical genres that his father, usually heard through vinyls, cassette tapes and radio stations, so Bruno decided to start studying percussion. Due to their greater contact with instruments, gradually a self-taught, he was improving his musical and technical knowledge, and at sixteen decided to give a new direction to his musical life. Then, he began studying one of the most important instruments of percussion of the west, the drums. In that time, bruno had contact with various masters drummers, which also helped him to Improve his studies in symphonic and popular percussion. As a musician, he participated of several musical groups and bands, where, one of them was the "Yes" cover band called "Yessongs", where he was the drummer, for two years. At the same time, Bruno was studying a BA in music composition, then realized it felt great fascination for the art of Eastern people, it was then he decided to start studying Indian classical music. After 10 years of in-depth studies of the classical Indian music, Bruno was recognized by specialized magazines as one of the 100 Brazilian drummers, with emphasis within Brazil, due to his involvement with the Arab music. In addition to studies in Western classical music, and worked as a musician in some groups of Eastern music, Bruno is currently dedicated to the study, and research of different instruments and new musical genres. Today, as a composer, Bruno released his first debut album, titled as "Dreams From The Earth", an union of popular music with various elements of progressive rock, symphonic influences and Eastern music.
XANADU
"Follow The Instinct"

The band Xanadu was founded in May 2008 by a couple of local Polish musicians, who felt the need to play ambitious music with a hint of melancholy, yet with some rock inside. This is, in a sense, a continuation of "the old Xanadu" from the 90's - Hubert Murawski (drummer) binds the two bands. Until the time the promo album was recorded in the current line-up ("Violent Dream" - summer 2010) the band was working on their unique sound and compositions. In our music we try to bind our personal musical fascinations, put them together to create some universal message. Everlasting searching, existence awareness and real space make us interpret feelings through music and pictures in our personal way. Everything evolves, so our music does, and it is hard to predict where we will all end up.
PROUD PEASANT
"Flight"

Guitarist/Composer Xander Rapstine was looking for a new direction in the summer of 2011. He had just quit his Austin, Texas pop/rock band, The Evildoers, a band he had started with one of his best and oldest friends 8 years prior, the very band he moved back to Austin to form, eschewing a life in academia, and a band he dearly loved, but no longer felt comfortable in. Starting a new musical chapter, he traded in the pop/rock stylings of his former band for a more rewarding style of music that he had grown to love since he was in his late teens: classic progressive rock. Several other musicians have contributed to the band's sound, and profiles of their contributions can be found at our Facebook page. The debut album from Proud Peasant, Flight, is available now (go here to purchase). The band will begin playing shows in June, providing audiences with the soundtrack to sublime dreams . . . and wicked nightmares.
ANTON ROOLAART
"The Plight of Lady Oona"

Anton Roolaart is a Dutch-American solo artist and composer. Early in his childhood he was exposed to classical music from his father, who was a serious music enthusiast. He also grew up listening to classic rock and "progressive rock" bands since the early 70's. He was particularily interested in the music from the likes of Pink Floyd, Bowie, and Yes, just to name a few. After the age of 12, his father had left the family and he grew up with his mother. At the age of 13 he started taking classical guitar lessons after his mother bought him his first classical guitar. After the well received debut Art-Rock album Dreamer in 2007, Anton has come back as an independent artist with an exciting new album entitled The Plight of Lady Oona which features a special guest appearance by Annie Haslam. The tracks were recorded in the US and The Netherlands during the last few years. Some records may change the way you think and feel about the Universe... "Impossible things I do right away, miracles take a bit longer"...
FLAMING ROW
"Mirage - A Portrayal Of Figures"

Flaming Row is an international band project formed by the German musician Martin Schnella (Steel Protector, Cast In Silence) in 2008. His original idea was to create a concept album with many different musicians, especially singers, female and male. Schnella wrote a lot of music for Flaming Row and put it together to complete songs. Because of his big influence of different styles of music, Flaming Row does not represent just one genre. So there is a mixture of prog metal/rock, mainstream rock, metal and powerful ballads inside Flaming Row. To complete the idea, Schnella asked his dear friend Kiri Geile (Steel Protector) to join the band. Kiri's task was to write a story for the concept. Within some months both completed the story "Elinoire", a drama about a young British family, together and wrote lyrics for the different characters in the story. The recording sessions started in late 2008. Almost all of the music was recorded until the end of 2009.
THE MERLIN BIRD
"Chapter and Verse"

Based in Melbourne, Australia, The Merlin Bird play a sort of atmospheric rock that draws on elements of classical, Middle-Eastern and folk music. They are currently working as a collaborative two-piece, which means that friends and fellow musicians come up with most of the good ideas for their songs, while they shamelessly take all the credit. The album contains thirteen tracks, which range in length from a rather perfunctory sixteen seconds, to your more quasi-epic seven minutes-ish. We hope we've managed to walk the line between keeping everything coherent, while still visiting a range of musical styles. We know we've said it before, but there's nothing like rock music for allowing you freedom of musical expression. It's really nice to be able to mix Gregorian chants with a bluesy sort of piano, and to crank up the power lead solo a few songs after your renaissance harpsicord number.
LATTE E MIELE
"Passio Secundum Mattheum - The Complete Work"

Back in a big way for Latte e Miele, the group that more than any other is that branch of the Italian progressive rock defined "Rock Symphony". And symphonic, almost cinematic, are the atmosphere and the new arrangements with which the Ligurian quartet gave birth to "Passio Secundum Mattheum , the complete work", a remake of the first album, released in 1972, with the addition of 7 new songs and new recited that will be published by the Genoese label Black Widow Records already responsible for the return of the other great Italian prog bands like Delirium, Nuova Idea and Gleemen. A review after a distance of forty years, which gives a new vigor and a new perspective to their work. The songs composed by Oliviero Lacagnina (keyboards) with guitarist Marcello Giancarlo Dellacasa are implemented by the new compositions with texts by Massimo Gori (bass and vocals) and drummer Alfio Vitanza, which alternates in Gori in the vocal parts, joins in mixes with Aldo de Scalzi, co-producer of the project realized in its studios Trancendance. The arches of the Gnu Quartet and the chorus lyric "mixed class " enrich the sound. But the surprises do not end there: to record the recitatives of the Gospel of Matthew were asked some of the biggest names in Italian prog (ALDO DE SCALZI - GIORGIO D' ADAMO - PAOLO GRIGUOLO - SILVANA ALIOTTA - SOPHYA BACCINI - PAOLO CARELLI- ELISA MONTALDO - ALVARO FELLA - MAX MANFREDI - SIMONLUCA - ROBERTO TIRANTI - LINO VAIRETTI) to celebrate as the "first forty years of band history. The album is dedicated to DON GALLO.
