RECOMMENDS
DARREL TREECE-BIRCH
"No More Time"

Melodic Revolution Records and Darrel Treece-Birch; keyboardist for Ten and Nth Ascension and solo Composer; is set to release his second solo album with Melodic Revolution Records this Autumn - No More Time in early Autumn 2016. Darrel Treece-Birch is a master of imagery choosing water, the very source of life on this planet as the backdrop for the lush 15 tracks, which begin at some distant point outside of our space-time and follow the very essence of human spirit through its journey to finally return home to the Nexus of our eternal regeneration. This exceptional work illustrates the breadth and scope of life, its struggles, fragilities, triumphs and connections; a winding path like the current of the river seeking to understand itself, answers that can only be found within. The complex but somehow familiar themes and melodies cast the soul on a journey that flows with artistic fluidity conveying a meaning that is eternal and universal, like the broken hourglass, our perception belies reality ?There is Always Time.
JONAS LINDBERG & THE OTHER SIDE
"Pathfinder"

Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side is a Progressive rock project from Stockholm, Sweden founded in 2012 by bassplayer, songwriter and producer Jonas Lindberg. It all started back in 2008 when the EP "In Secret Pace" was recorded by Jonas as an exam-project at the college of Music in Piteå, Sweden. The first recordings featured a large lineup of musicians and was originally intended to work as a demo for an upcoming band. But as term ended Jonas moved to Stockholm to pursue a career as a freelance musician and the idea got put on hold. In 2012 "In Secret Pace" was finally released on digital platforms as Jonas started to work on new material. This time the lineup featured a 5 piece band and the second EP "The Other Side" was finished and released in 2013. The project was named "Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side" from the title track of the album after its release.
SLYCHOSIS
"Slychosis V"

Progressive rock, psychedelic, and fusion. This release features special guest, prog/fusion giant, John Goodsall of Brand X, Atomic Rooster, and Fire Merchants performing lead guitar on the track "Huh?" Listeners who like classic and modern progressive rock and psychedelic rock will be drawn to this album. Influences and textures are described as having similarities with Pink Floyd, Rush, Genesis, Beatles, David Bowie, Alan Parsons Project, Yes, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Van der Graaf Generator, etc.
EDISON'S CHILDREN
"Somewhere Between Here and There"

Somewhere Between Here and There is a bridge album to connect you from our last epic to our next. What this is, is a collection from our land of misfit songs. These are not your typical Edison's Children tracks... in fact, they have been unable to find a home on any of our albums, past or future. Our music is intended to take you on a journey... picking you up from wherever you are and dropping you off someplace you've never been before. In fact... Edison's Children's next "4th" album is looking to head even more into that direction than ever. These songs however, on this collection... they just don't seem to fit in any sort of "theme" or concept that we were... or will be heading into. Un-apologetically "un-prog" or psychedelic compared to our usual musings. Yet in their own right... we still think are rather fine tracks. Songs that on their own... can be proud to be amongst our grandest Children of Edison though even if up until now, they have never been able to find their own place in the world.
THE BEN CAMERON PROJECT
"A Cycle Never Ending"

The Ben Cameron Project is the creative vehicle of Australian musician and composer Ben Cameron. Cameron began the project in 2013 as a fresh outlet to explore a wide range of influences, from the heavier end of progressive rock and metal to the lighter side of folk and ambient music. It's the combination of these styles, as well as an ever bold intent to explore different music and lyrical concepts that gives The Ben Cameron Project it's signature sound, long and winding genre bending tracks that cover a lot of musical ground with a cohesive flow. Writing for a follow up was completed in late 2015, the new album was recorded in London during the summer of 2016,
LABIRINTO
"Gehenna"

Experimental sounds, full of textures and dynamics, but keeping their roots in Post Rock/Metal. That?s one of the main reasons that made Labirinto become one of the greatest names of the genre in South America. They had made several tours in North America, Brazil and Europe, performed in some great festivals that embrace the genre, including Dunk!Festival in Belgium, the biggest Post-Rock event in the world where the band performed for the second time in 2015. Their first time was in 2013, and they were the first band from South America to be invited to the festival. After an extensive tour in Europe last year, they started the recording of the awaited second full lenght, counting with the production of the great sound engineer Billy Anderson, known for his works with Melvins, Neurosis, Fantomas, Swans, amongst others. This record will come out on the second half of 2016.
BAD DREAMS
"Apocalypse of the Mercy"

Bad Dreams is the first Latin American classic and prog-rock band to triumph outside the continent. Hailing from Argentina, and comprising five accomplished musicians, they began their prolific career performing Genesis' music for a period of more than 10 years, venture in which they attained worldwide recognition by fans and Genesis members alike; being mentioned in the official website of Genesis and Steve Hackett, having fused Genesis music with a symphony orchestra and played together with Genesis' last singer Ray Wilson, besides being featured in the Official Genesis iPad App made by Armando Gallo (Genesis' official photographer and biographer) Wanting to spread their wings even further, they took a big undertaking out of their comfort zone in 2014, and released their first album with their own original music entitled "Apocalypse of the Mercy".
PABLO EL ENTERRADOR
"Threephonic"

After a lengthy lethargy, the band's third and final album, at long last sees the light of day. These here featured are the last home recordings made together with "Turco" Antún. They contain two versions of Instrumental songs from the group's early incarnation, as well as a series of compositions presenting a Symphonic style similar to that of early eighties' Genesis.
AGUSA
"Katarsis"

A live recording of this Swedish progressive rock band made in February 2016 at the Six D.O.G.S. club in Athens, Greece, during the Side Effects psych-fest. It includes extended versions of the songs 'Uti Vår Hage' and 'Kärlek Från Agusa'. The latter clocks in at 3:11 minutes on the debut album 'Högtid', but this rendition is four times longer and vastly different. Limited to 200 copies on Black Vinyl.
KANSAS
"The Prelude Implicit"

2016 sees the release of The Prelude Implicit, the fifteenth studio album from Kansas. The band's first studio release in 16 years, The Prelude Implicit amply demonstrates the band's distinctive, wide-ranging and powerful take on the Progressive Rock genre.  Kansas is currently comprised of original drummer Phil Ehart, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer, keyboardist David Manion, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale, guitarist Zak Rizvi, and original guitarist Richard Williams. Double heavyweight vinyl edition in gatefold sleeve with CD. The fourth side features an etching.
BRIAN JOHNSTONE
"Consent Under Coercion"

Brian started piano lessons at the grand old age of 16. Initially studying under music teacher Anne McQuat he eventually studied with local piano teacher and music guru David Murray. David encouraged Brian to investigate many styles and directions so, rather than concentrating on a classical only repertoire, they agreed that Brian would cover a wide range of musical styles for piano. Being an Emerson, Lake and Palmer fan since the age of 10 it seemed a natural thing for him to explore all areas of music and piano/keyboard playing. Keith Emerson was a keen learner of all styles of music including, jazz, rock, boogie, classical etc and Brian decided to do likewise. While playing a few "local" bands Brian did some solo demos which caught the attention of record label Centaur Discs who were developing a specialism in progressive, symphonic rock.
BLIND EGO
"Liquid"

Kalle Wallner's solo project returns with a new album entitled Liquid and displays a more versatile performance than ever. Seven years have run down the road since Liquid's predecessor Numb, and guess what the exceptionally gifted guitarist of RPWL chose to do? He throws himself into the high waters of rock music! Powerfully the songs fall over the listeners' heads, relentlessly they swirl the audience around ? just to culminate in carrying them gently on a wave of fascination. Liquid ? that is the term that Kalle Wallner has chosen to put on his latest work as a name. And there is hardly a different take that is better suited to describe the different flows and streams that push these nine songs forward.
AD MAIORA
"Repetita Iuvant"

Ad Maiora starts as progressive rock's project in Milan (Italy), january 2009. They come from different musical experiences, more or less continuous. They never stopped believing in the extraordinary communicative power of their genre. They perform their own compositions, which are originals (in all senses). At april 30, 2010 the group is reduced to 4 elements and performs in Olgiate Olona his first concert. Since december 2011, Paolo Callioni joins the band on vocals. In 2014 the ryeleased their first album: "Ad Maiora!." Sounds like: Genesis, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Yes, Pink Floyd, PFM, Banco, etc...
ROBERT REED
"Sanctuary II"

Tigermoth Records is pleased to announce the release of the follow up to the acclaimed 2014 "Sanctuary" album by multi-instrumentalist and producer Robert Reed (Magenta / Kompendium / Kiama / Chimpan A). "Sanctuary II" is produced, mixed and engineered by Reed, who also plays most of the instruments himself, although for this new album he is joined by legendary drummer Simon Phillips (Toto / Mike Oldfield / The Who) while the original "Tubular Bells" production team of Tom Newman and Simon Heyworth have once again made important contributions to the sound of the album. The album will be released as a 3 disc set. CD1 will contain the new album while CD2 includes unreleased tracks, remixes and Tom Newman's alternative mixes. The third disc will be a DVD containing the 5.1 mix of the album and various promotional and interview videos.
EVERSHIP
"Evership"

The band wraps up the album on a strong note with what will likely be the fan favorite - the prog-tastic "Flying Machine". Here, Atkinson demonstrates the full weight of his engineering and production prowess with Alan Parsons-like precision, complete with swirling effects, character-based voiceovers and the sound of the flying machine itself - which nearly sounds like its own instrument. For me, this song has such an innocent magic to it, which immediately conjures up many of the same feelings I had as a child upon discovering albums like Rush's 2112. Particularly, the recurring line, "Are you sure you won't fall down?" has such a familiar and reminiscent vibe to it, you'll swear you've heard it somewhere else before. Simply put, "Flying Machine" is pure nostalgic bliss, and as you let it whisk you away into its strange and fantastic world, you'll find yourself longing to return over and over again.
GUSTAVO SANTHIAGO
"Ánimam"

"Gustavo Santhiago started writing this album back in the end of 2011, when He was first exploring recording softwares. It took about two years to finish all the 'demo' tracks and in 2015 I started to revise the songs for the definitive recording. Some tracks I modified almost nothing, like Tiro No Escuro, Arcadia and Ánimam (Parte 1), while the other two have changed more. This album represents my start in music writing and I hope it to be the first of many!"
BODRAGAZ
"20"

It's no mistake that Bodragaz has been playing the big stage alongside major recording artists for over five years. From arenas to national festivals, we have the music, the talent, and the experience to rock your venue. With seven full-length albums, songs featured on two international compilation discs, and their very own Pandora Internet Radio music station, Bodragaz music speaks volumes. On the brink of a new era in Heavy Metal Music, Bodragaz have established a sound completely their own! Mixing the elements of Power, Symphonic, Progressive and Melodic Rock, Bodragaz delivers a Fuel-Adrenaline, Power-Punch of Hard Rock/Heavy Metal unlike any other. This Denver-based Quintet have 8 CD?s to their credit, recently completing recording of their release, ?20? which is comprehensive greatest hits collection.
THE SKYS
"Journey Through the Skies"

New album of leading Lithuanian rockers. Featuring top British music stars: Snowy White, Rob Townsend, Kyla Wight and many more. Mastered at legendary Abbey Road Studios by Christian Wright. Established in 1995, The Skys are Lithuania's No. 1 proggers. Colours... features a host of guest stars including Dave Kilminster (Roger Waters' band) and Anne - Marie Helder (Mostly Autumn, Panic Room). Key to the band's appeal is the male - female vocal interplay, and a musical approach that's both expansive and ethnic. Nuostabus! (Lithuanian for "amazing".) Geoff Barton, founder of Kerrang! Magazine.
CYRIL
"Paralyzed"

Founded in late 2010, after 2 albums, the 4 former members of pop/rock band "gabria" - Denis Strassburg (bass) , guitar player Ralf Dietsch (Ex - Hidden Timbre) , keyboardist / saxophonist Marek Arnold (Toxic Smile, seven steps to the green door, Flaming Row, UPF, Damanek, Ex-Stern Combo Meissen), and Clemens Litschko (drums) - started new project, with singer Larry B. (Toxic Smile, Ex-Stern-Combo Meissen). In 2015 Manuel Schmid (Stern-Combo Meissen) joined as second singer. second album "paralyzed" (2016). Released at PPR again, "Paralyzed" shows the core skills of the band - melodic prog rock songs with an eye on real songwriting and arrangements, that will guide you into an own athmosphere.
THE KINDRED SPIRIT
"Phoenix Rising"

The Kindred Spirit Band sound is special and distinctive, featuring two, more unusual lead instruments for prog rock and laced with jigs, reels and duelling improvisations. The band also feature Elaine Samuels' beautiful vocals, powerful, "perceptive and intriguing" songs and guitar work, exciting new band member Martin Ash's thrilling and beautiful violin playing, Catherine Dimmock's or Emily Nash's expert flute & saxophone playing, Mike Hislop's driving bass rhythms, lovely harmony vocals from Catherine or Emily and one of three great drummers! We play with either legendary (ex Judas Priest, Roger Glover and many other famous names) drummer, Les Binks, excellent, young, drum professional, Chris Goode (who is also a super keyboard player) or seasoned drumming professional, Alan Barwise.
TICKET TO THE MOON
"Æ Sense Of Life"

Ticket to the Moon, a progressive band from Basel, Switzerland. Founded in 2003 by Andy and Danny, the band went through several changes until Matt and Gys completed the line-up in 2007. 3TM's sound is as a blend of atmospheric-rock with stronger metal influences, giving a modern and melodic progressive music. Our debut album Dilemma On Earth was perceived by the audience as a continuously evolving journey and resulting in sound inspired by various well known bands while still maintaining an original identity of its own. 3 years after this first opus, the band continued to establish itself in the progressive scene with a more personal album. Æ Sense Of Life has been written very differently. We've put more guts into our music and lyrics and want to share what each of us feels deep inside ? things that matter and make us to the ones we are. With four songs and one instrumental concept, this one-hour long album remains what characterizes 3TM. Through Dilemma On Earth we reached fans in over 20 countries! With Æ Sense Of Life we hope to reach your heart.
BRUNO MANSINI
"The Golden Soul"

Distinct cultures and a plenty of musical genres explain ? or at least point some possibilities ? that the multi-instrumentalist Bruno Mansini created at "The Golden Soul", the third album of its career, available in CD and virtual format next august. This is such a emblematic release to the artist, born and raised in São Paulo, who sings every notes and plays all the instruments in 10 tracks, which contains references to progressive rock in harmony with hard rock, brazilian musical elements, besides soft remembrances of heavy metal,  70ies and 80ies sonorities. Produced by Mansini on its own, "The Golden Soul" is the last album of a trilogy, which previous ones are "Secrets of Green" (2015) and "Dreams form the Earth" (2013). The journey to inner comprehension and all the stages to reach an utter consciousness form the lyrical concept that unites the three releases. For this purpose, Mansini deals with the search for fellings and emotions' comprehension, always with a optimist perspective and attached to the great men's values.
HANGOVER PARADISE
"Mirrors"

Hangover Paradise is a symphonic pop-rockband, inspired by the music of greats  such as Genesis, Marillion, Rush  and Pink  Floyd. The band consists of six  experienced and versatile musicians. Each song  is a self-contained  musical adventure; full sounding  and played with passion.  Beautiful introductions; sometimes  grandiose, sometimes smooth. Surprising transitions with guitar work  to feast on. Tight soulful bass and rhythmic pulsing drums.  All this combined with tuneful  passionate vocals and  the variety and range provided by 2  accomplished keyboard players make  Hangover Paradise  a symphonic  rockadventure.
PERVY PERKIN
"Totem"

Pervy Perkin started out as a project between Alvaro (guitar), Carly (drums/vocals) and Dante (guitar/vocals). Rafa "Fika" then joined his bass to the cause and at the same time an old friend of the band, Ugo Fellone, took up the spot of the much needed keyboard player. The name "Pervy Perkin" is stablished in 2011, the same year in which they would compete in an important music contest in Murcia, their homeland, reaching the semi-finals and being the youngest band to do so. Halfway through 2012, Pervy Perkin focused their efforts on the composition and recording of their debut album, coinciding with the departure of Rafa and the entrance of the magnificent Alex Macho, who would become the lead vocalist from that point on and would record the main vocals for the album. In October 2013, Pablo "Aks", joins Pervy Perkin as the permanent bassist the band had been looking for since 2012.

Mike (guitar) came out of a twenty year hiatus from playing guitar to do this project.
